Intro:

I am a senior at Rowe-Clark, and I like to do art. I mainly do graffiti art, but I also like to branch out and draw different types of things. I enjoy riding trains and buses alone sometimes because it helps me feel more independent and I get time to think about many things. I also love animals; I have 3 dogs and 2 cats at home. My favorite animal is a white tiger.
The topic of astrophysics inspires me, as well. I find it entertaining and interesting to learn about the infinite amount of objects in space and how they work.
At the moment, I am trying to get into college so that I can one day become an architect, but I am very open to new things, and science is a subject that is starting to spark an interest in me, so I'm not yet sure if i will go into a more science-y career/major.

Unit 6

In unit 6, we learned mostly about the sun.
I've learned the layers of the sunexternal image layers%20of%20the%20sun.gif

Week 2/17/15

This week, I learned about the reflections of lasers.
I learned the law of reflection and how it works.

Above is an image of a laser being reflected off a mirror. the incident ray is the initial ray, and the reflected ray is the outcome of the incident ray reflecting off of the mirror. The small i is the angle of incidence, and the small r is the angle of reflection. Those two angles are always equal to each other when the normal line bisects them.

Unit 8

In this unit, we learned about the stages of the stars.
This is my star cycle flowchart. It lists the stages and things that happen when stars become that size.

I liked this unit because we got to learn at many different paces. It was fun creating our own class. I got to learn the stages of stars and events that lead up to them. It starts as a planetary nebula and can end up as a supernova.
